The TSPE Auxiliary is pleased to announce that APPLICATIONS are being accepted for the Dorothy and Arthur Crouch Memorial Scholarship.  The TSPE Nashville Chapter and Auxiliary have, for a number of years, offered scholarships for engineering students and have recently established an endowed scholarship through the Tennessee Engineering Foundation.  The selection of the recipient of this scholarship will be made in June for the following academic year by the TSPE Auxiliary and the Tennessee Engineering Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee.

The scholarship is open to all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or age, with the following restrictions:  the scholarship is open to any Junior or Senior in an ABET accredited engineering school in Tennessee. The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, room and board or any other charges related to registration for the fall or spring semester in the year it is awarded.  The recipient shall certify that this scholarship plus the sum of all other scholarships, grants, or gifts does not exceed the cost of the items listed above.  This scholarship will be reduced appropriately if the sum of all other scholarships, grants, or gifts exceeds the cost of the items listed above.

This year the award is in the amount of $4,000. Application deadline for the 2009-10 scholarship is June 5, 2009.
