2012 Awards Committee Schedule and  Criteria

The TSPE awards criteria and nomination forms are being e-mailed to Chapter Awards Committee Chairs, Presidents and Directors. A link to the criteria is provided above. The Awards Committee plans to give the following awards at the annual meeting in September:

• Outstanding Professional Engineer of the Year
• Distinguished Service
• Professional Engineer in Government
• Young Engineer of the Year
• Outstanding Employer

Following is the schedule for the awards process:

• June 20, 2012 – Chapters submit nomination forms for State awards to:

TSPE, 800 Fort Negley Blvd., Nashville, TN 37203, Attn: Judy Logue
OR via e-mail jlogue@tnec.org OR via e-mail to state committee chair Sandra Knight, sknight@bradleyco.net OR via e-mail to state committee co-chair Jonathan Haycraft, jonathan_haycraft@gspnet.com.

• July 30, 2012 – TSPE Awards Committee Chair sends Chapter Committee Chairs nomination packages on all Chapter nominees, along with ranking instructions.

• August 15, 2012 – Committee Chairs submit their rankings to the state office/state committee chair.

• September 14, 2012 – State winners will receive awards at the Annual Meeting
