Civil P.E. Exam Review Course
The Tennessee
Society of Professional Engineers is sponsoring the Civil P.E. Exam Review
Course in Nashville and Knoxville in the Fall of 2008, using textbooks from Kaplan AEC
Education. This course combines quality instruction with materials to
help you earn your Professional Engineer’s license. In class, you will: • study the new PE structural design standards • complete practice exams • learn do's and don'ts for taking the test • get personalized coaching from a qualified instructor PEs may sign up for individual sessions, which will count for 3 professional development hours. The review course will be taught using Kaplan AEC's 17th edition of Civil Engineering: License Review. Contents include: Building Structures Bridge Structures Foundations and Retaining Structures Transportation Construction Hydraulics Engineering Hydrology Water Treatment and Distribution Wastewater Treatment Geotechnical Engineering Engineering Economics
Dates for Review Course: TBA Every Tuesday and Thursday evening; 6:00-9:00 p.m. Minimum registration of six is required in order for the review course to be offered. For optimal instruction, class size is limited to the first 15 registrants.
Schedule to be Announced
Registration Fee: TSPE or ACEC Members $700 (Includes the Kaplan textbook and Civil Engineering: Problem-Solving Flowcharts, 3rd ed.)
Individual sessions for PDHs (review books not included) - limited to PEs only $120/session for Members and $150/session for Non-Members
Location: Tennessee Engineering Center in Nashville TBA in Knoxville
