Civil PE Exam Review Course Available

The Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) will offer the
Civil PE exam review course starting on August 24th. If you know someone
who is taking the exam on October 30, 2015, please pass this information along.

To register by mail, follow the link or register on-line here!   The cost will be $400 per person and will include TSPE membership free for 6 months if you have never been a member of TSPE. The deadline to register extended to August 23, 2015. 

The course, taught by Professional Engineers using the 13th edition of the
Lindeburg books (published by Professional Publications, Inc.), will be focus
on the “breadth” portion of the exam and will include the following general
topics covered during the morning part of the exam:

Exam overview and Engineering Economics
Fluid Mechanics & Open Channel Flow
Waste & Water Treatment Facilities
Mechanics of Materials & Timber Design
Concrete Design
Steel Design

The classes will meet every Monday evening from 5-8 pm CST for 10 weeks
beginning August 24th. (Note: the Labor Day class will be moved to Tuesday,
Sept. 8th.) The instructors will be offering a “live” session in Nashville,
which will be simulcast to locations in Tri-Cities, Knoxville, Chattanooga,
Jackson, and Memphis (based on the number of people registered in each area.)

www.tnspe.org, just click here. Seismic and land surveying will not be covered in the review course, as they
are not covered on the "breadth" part of the exam. If you would like to see

If you are already licensed as a PE and would like to sit in on some of the
sessions as a refresher for PDHs, you may register for a single session
(or more.)

there is no charge. If you have attended more than twice, the cost will be $100

Mechanical and Electrical Review Course Information


Not taking the Civil exam?  TSPE, in cooperation with the Minnesota Society

of Professional Engineers, is offering Mechanical and Electrical PE exam

review courses as well as the FE review via live webinar. Information on the

courses is on the Minnesota Society's web site.


The live webinars will begin in late Summer. For additional information,

please contact the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers.
